Common Questions We Receive

Q:  What is Six Sigma?  The central idea behind Six Sigma is that if you can measure how many "defects" you have in a process, you can systematically figure out how to eliminate them and get as close to "zero defects" as possible. To achieve Six Sigma Quality, a process must produce no more than 3.4 defects per million opportunities.

Q:  What is Lean Six Sigma?  Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that relies on a collaborative team effort to improve performance by systematically removing waste; combining lean manufacturing/leanenterprise and Six Sigma to eliminate the eight kinds of waste (poda): defects, overproduction, waiting, non-utilized talent, transportation, inventory, etc.

Q:  What are the costs associated with your service?  We have two options to work with your teams.  A fixed Hourly Rate, or a Risk-Free Pay For Performance based on the project's outcome.  We're happy to discuss both options with you.

Q:  What type of Solutions and Results do you Provide?  Six Sigma provides a common language and toolset that ensures the development and maintenance of the organization's design, control, and improvement of processes.  With Lean Six Sigma in place organizations can enjoy improved revenue through improved customer satisfaction, waste elimination, reduced costs of poor quality, and decreased cycle times resulting in maximization of value for the shareholders.
